About 'Finding Vivian Maier'
Finding Vivian Maier is a documentary that tells the story of a French-American nanny, Vivian Maier, who took more than 100,000 photographs. Vivian's photographs were discovered by John Maloof, who came across the photographs at a local auction house. The photographs were brought to the public eye through the efforts of Maloof. Vivian died in 2009 and never witnessed how far the photographs have gone.

Economic Impact of Battelle And PNNL on the Tri-Cities Kennewick WA

On Thursday, August 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening there will be a a special event at the Mid-Columbia Libraries in Kennewick, Washington - a presentation about the Economic Impact of Battelle And Pacific Northwest National Laboratory on the Tri-Cities.

More about the Event
The presentation will describe the impacts at the intersection of business, technology, job, education, culture and society. It will be presented by Gary Spanner, manager of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Economic Development Office.
