INCLUDE is a dance workshop especially designed for kids who have special needs, ages 8 to 11. About The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker, original version, is choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. This production gained popularity in the late 1960s after the failure of its original presentation. The Nutcracker is now performed by different ballet groups and is usually staged during Christmas season.

This presentation is the 41st annual production of The Nutcracker It will feature pre-performance presentations, the Sweet Treats and Performance Perspectives.

About “the Nutcracker”
The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman.  Although what is seen on the stage today is different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; the story of a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.

BYU Theatre Ballet Hanford High School Auditorium Richland, WashingtonThis coming Saturday, March 7 watch BYU Theatre Ballet at the Hanford High School Auditorium, 450 Hanford St. in Richland, Washington where graceful performers take the center stage in their repertoire.

There will be two performances one at 3:00 in the afternoon and 7:30 in the evening.

Details of the Event
The BYU Theatre Ballet repertoire will consist of Fairy Tales and Fantasy that will feature a medley of classical ballet excerpts from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Raymonda and Swan Lake.

Each performance includes a pre-show Prince and Princess Party, where the young and young-at-heart can come dressed in their favorite prince or princess costume to meet and take photos with the ballet company.
