About the 2017 Higgins Spring Opener
The 2017 Higgins Spring Opener is a celebration of the coming of a new season which happens to be the best weather for a smooth flight. The event will feature camping where the guests can enjoy 2 runways, modern facilities, sumptuous meals, and a lot more. Instructors will also be at the venue to make the Open Flying event a learning experience for the attendees. Admission to the 2017 Higgins Spring Opener costs $15 per pilot. Don't miss it!

From June 12 to 14, Bergstrom Aircraft invites everyone to Wings of Freedom. The event returns to Pasco for the first time since 2012 with World War II aircraft from the Massachusetts-based Collings Foundation’s collection. Planes include the vintage Flying Fortress “Nine O Nine,” one of only eight such Boeing B-17 bombers still in flying condition in the United States.
Everyone is invited at the Miniature Association Aircraft Airfield in West Richland on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30 from 9:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon and Sunday, September 31 from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon for the “Warbirds over Washington” event.
