From June 12 to 14, Bergstrom Aircraft invites everyone to Wings of Freedom. The event returns to Pasco for the first time since 2012 with World War II aircraft from the Massachusetts-based Collings Foundation’s collection. Planes include the vintage Flying Fortress “Nine O Nine,” one of only eight such Boeing B-17 bombers still in flying condition in the United States.
Schedule:
Friday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tours cost $12 for adults and $6 for children, ground tours are free for World War II veterans.
There is also an opportunity to spend some serious money riding in one of the warbirds! Flights take place before and after tours:
30-minute flight on the B-17 or B-24 is $450 per person
30-minute flight training on the P-51C is $2200
60-minute flight training on the P-51C is $3200
