Sons of Norway Lutefisk Dinner Eighteen Norwegian immigrants founded the Sons of Norway as a fraternal benefit society on January 16, 1895 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mission of the Sons of Norway
The present mission of Sons of Norway has not veered away from the purposes and goals of its Founding Fathers. Just like in the beginning, its mission is to promote Norwegian traditions and fraternal fellowship, promote and preserve the heritage and culture of Norway, celebrate its relationship with other Nordic countries, and offer financial assistance to Sons of Norway members and their families.

Save the Date
On February 1, 2014, they will be hosting a traditional Norwegian meal that includes lutefisk, meatballs, potatoes, gravy, green beans, lefsa, goat cheese, and an assortment of Norwegian cookies and lots of coffee.

The dinner will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Kennewick at Highway 395 & Yelm from 1 to 4PM. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 6-12. No admission is necessary for children under the age of six. For more information, you may send an e-mail to ronrolla[@]yahoo.com.
