Fire can spread really quick. For this reason, everyone must be fully aware of fire safety. Both kids and adults must be educated on how to respond when fire strikes. Here are three of the most important fire safety tips that families should know:
- There should be smoke alarms in every household. Reports reveal that smoke alarms saved almost 50% of individuals affected by fire from dying.
- Kids must not be allowed to play with fire. Matches and lighters must not be within kids' reach. Children must be taught of the dangers that playing with fire can bring.
- Families must practice how they will escape the fire. There must be a plan of what to do in case of fire and it must be well-understood by everyone.
