On Saturday, December 6 come and check out the Merry Christmas Village at the Flag Plaza & JC Penney Building in Downtown Kennewick, Washington from 10:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon. Plus, there will be a fun filled family event to celebrate the second annual Public Ice Skating Rink and the “Merry Christmas Village”.
Details of the Event
Entertainment will consist of Ice Skating, Christmas Music, children visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, taking pictures, hay rides, hourly reading of the Polar Express, face painting, crafts, carolers and games at the JC Penney Building. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be collecting items for the following organizations: Tri-Cities Food Bank, Toys for Tots and the Boys and Girls Club Music and Art Center. The Kennewick Irrigation District will be providing complimentary gift-wrapping from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the JC Penney Building with the receipt of merchandise from the merchants. Otto the Christmas otter will also be present to visit with the children and help with games.
