From July 23 until September 4 there will be a special exhibit examining Lincoln and his basic American ideals and equality at the Mid-Columbia Libraries Kennewick Branch located in 1620 S. Union Street Kennewick, Washington.
About LINCOLN: The Constitution and the Civil War
This is a traveling exhibition for libraries that was organized by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office. The traveling exhibition has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
It is based on an exhibition of the same name developed by the National Constitution Center.Opening ceremony of the event will be on Thursday, July 24 at 7:00 in the evening. Refreshments will be served plus door prizes will be given.
