Plenty of Shakespearean plays are scheduled this month, and if you’re a big fan of William Shakespeare, you are in for a wonderful treat.
Mark Your Calendars
On February 7 at 7PM and February 8 at 2PM, Kamiakin High School’s Bravehouse Production Company will present their 2013-2014 winter play, Macbeth. If you can’t catch the play on said dates, don’t worry. The play is slated to run on February 13 and 14 at 7PM, too.
Macbeth in the 1920s
One of Shakespeare’s classics is given an exciting twist in Bravehouse Production Company’s presentation, as they set the story in the 1920s, when flappers, gangsters, and gun molls ruled. However, only the setting of the story changed. As the ultimate tale of ruthless ambition, this version of Macbeth will still address the theme of power, corruption, and fate.
See You There
Don’t forget the dates: February 7, 13, 14 at 7PM and February 8 at 2PM. The play will be held at the Kamiakin High School Auditorium at 600 N. Arthur St. Kennewick, Wa. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children and senior. For detailed information, please check out their website.
