Born and raised in northern California, Jay Owenhouse first became interested in magic at the very young age of 4 when his parents surprised him by hiring a magician on his birthday party. At 11, after watching a magician levitate a woman in midair on T.V. he urged his mother to take him to a nearby magic shop. In the years that followed, he sought out all the information he needed to learn more about magic. Â
