Lovecraft was an author from Providence, Rhode Island, who gained popularity because of his remarkable horror fiction. His forte also included dark fantasy, gothic, science fiction, and weird fiction. Some of Lovecraft's notable works are The Shadow Out of Time, At the Mountains of Madness, and The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Lovecraft died of cancer and malnutrition.
