CBC Chapter Of The Native Plant Society Meeting & Presentation Pasco, WashingtonOn Wednesday, February 4 the Columbia Basin College Chapter of the Native Plant Society will be holding a meeting and presentation at Room TD-439, 2600 N. 20th in Pasco, Washington. Event starts at 7:00 in the evening. Admission is free!

About the Meeting and Presentation
You always wanted a fixation on something, how about Bitterbrush? Join the meeting and listen to Dr. Ryk Smith, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Columbia Basin College as he discuss nitrogen fixation in a non-leguminous shrub native to shrub steppe habitats of the area. At 6:30 p.m., bring in your unknown plant (non-ornamental) and the group will try to identify it. Plant identification occurs before the regular meeting.
