About the Columbia Basin 2014 Veterans Stand Down
This is a one-day event that aims to provide services to homeless veterans. Included are food, shelter, clothing, health screenings, VA and Social Security benefits counseling, and referrals to a number of other necessary local services, such as housing, employment and substance abuse treatment. The Columbia Basin Stand Down is a coordination between the Columbia Basin Veterans Coalition, Veterans Services at WorkSource, local VAs, other government, and community agencies who serve veterans and the disadvantaged.
