If you love musicals, then you’re in for a treat. The Hanford High Center Stage is proud to present the musical comedy 42nd Street.
The Deal with 42nd Street
The musical follows the story of a young dancer who arrives in New York City with 40 cents in her pocket but bigger dreams in her heart. It also follows a Broadway director who dreams of staging a musical extravaganza at the height of one of the most severe worldwide economic depression to ever hit the United States before World War II – the Great Depression. 42nd Street is a flashy, fast-paced show that beautifully emphasizes the importance of finding the courage to follow your dreams. Matt Leggett directs the musical, with vocal direction by Kelly Brown.
The musical will at Hanford High School Auditorium on these dates: January 31, February 1, 5, 7, and 8 at 7:30PM, with a matinee on February 8 at 2:00PM. Tickets are at $10 and $12.
