Michael Peterson Coming Home: A Celebration of Veterans, Richland

On Saturday, August 9 Michael Peterson will be coming home at John Dam Plaza in Richland for the celebration of veterans. BBQ begins at 5:30 in the afternoon and concert starts at 8 in the evening.

About Michael Peterson
Michael is a 1977 Richland High graduate and Multiple Grammy and Country Music Association nominee and on Thursday he is coming home for a concert that will honor American soldiers. There will be free meals for Veterans provided by Fiesta Restaurant, Texas Road House and 13 Bones Urban BBQ until supplies last. “A Celebration of Veterans” is free and open to everyone. The Ben-Franklin Fair and Rodeo Queen and her court will be in present to thank our Veterans for their service. Sean Lewis will open the show for Michael Peterson.

Julius Caesar is a tragic political thriller by William Shakespeare. However, Shakespeare Walla Walla's take of this is not like the typical production because women from the Seattle Shakespeare Company - most of whom are portraying men - comprise the entire cast.

Farm-City Pro Rodeo, Umatilla County Fairgrounds Hermiston, Oregon

Everyone is invited to the Farm-City Pro Rodeo from August 6 to 9 at the Umatilla County Fairgrounds located in 515 W. Orchard Avenue Hermiston, Oregon.

About Farm-City Pro Rodeo
The event consists of four action packed performances where timed event contestants compete on two head of livestock. The first run will take place in the afternoon and the second run will be during that nights performance. The rough stock events of the Farm-City Pro Rodeo will happen at the night performances and will be one ride only. Proceeds at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo will be used for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV in December.
