The Bechtel National Planetarium at CBC is inviting both the young and adult to watch Zootopia which will be presented on May 18, 2016. Zootopia is a Walt Disney Animation Studios production, which was released by Walt Disney Pictures last February 2016. Byron Howard and Rich Moore directed the film, which Clark Spencer produced. Zootopia featured the voice of celebrities Ginnifer Goodwin, Shakira, J.K. Simoons, Octavia Spencer and many other known personalities.
Judy Hopps, a visionary rabbit, is the lead character in Zootopia. She is dreaming of becoming the first ever rabbit to hold a position in Zootopia's police department. Despite working really hard on achieving this goal, Judy finds herself stuck in the parking department. Judy's superior, Chief Bogo, does not find her capable of handling any other position. Chief Bogo is bluntly discrediting Judy's capabilities and this only makes her even more challenged. Then comes a great opportunity which Judy grabs to prove her worth.
