A Support to Job Seekers in Tri-Cities
The WorkSource Columbia Basin's Spring Employment and Career Expo is a three-day event that aims to support job seekers in Tri-Cities. This event also targets to eliminate barriers in finding a career. There will be workshops during the day and participants can freely choose which ones to be present at. English and Spanish language workshops are also a part of this employment and career expo, taking into account how much communication skills can affect one's chances in getting employed. Among other topics to be discussed in workshops are mature job seeker tips, mock interviews, financial assistance planning, health care solutions, how to start a business and resume writing.
