EnergySolutions Foundation is accepting application for their tenth grade scholarship. The deadline for the scholarship is Wednesday. In order to be elligible for the scholarship a completed application must be turned in with two letters of recommendation. The scholarship is $2,000 for students wanting to persue a degree in math, science, or engineering. For more information visit the EnergySolultions Foundation Scholarship website.
Need help with your taxes? On Thursdays between the hours of 12:30 and 3:30 at the Kennewick Senior Center there will be the opportunity for people to get help with their taxes. To schedule an appointment call 509.585.4303, if time permits they also accept walk-ins. This assistance is sponsored by AARP, the IRS, Tax Aid, and the Kennewick Senior Center.
