The Moorings at Columbia Point, a luxury condominium complex between the Richland Yacht Club and Columbia Point Golf Course, have been developed over the past couple of years to include 55 units. A couple of years ago tenants and homeowners began noticing mold caused by water leakage, now all 55 of these units are under repair to fix the water leakage problem which is causing the mold. These repairs have been going on now for the past couple months and as a result the condominiums have been covered in a special wrap that blocks the sunlight. This special wrap also prevents the tenants and homeowners from being able to use decks or get any sunlight coming inside. The wrap is a benefit for the builders because it allows for them to work even in inclement weather. ESH Construction was hired to do the repairs on the condominiums. The money used for the repairs is from a settlement with T.R. Masterson Construction who built the condominiums. The contractors and the residents are working together to get all the repairs done as easily as possibly.
