Bechtel National Planetarium presents The Martian in Pasco, WAThe Bechtel National Planetarium - CBC will be presenting The Martian on the 28th of January, 2016. Screening will start at 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and will be held at Bechtel National Planetarium, CBC at 2600 N 20th Ave., Bldg. D. Pasco, WA. The Bechtel National Planetarium will conduct two screenings of The Martian. It is expected that the seats for The Martian screening will fill up quickly so everyone is advised to reserve seats at the earliest time possible. Students of the Columbia Basin College can attend the screening for free provided they have their CBC IDs for the admission. Admission for non-students costs $2.

After each screening, Dr. Kristy Henscheid will carry out the Mars missions and geology presentation using modern software and projection system. Dr. Henscheid will also talk about Marian rovers and landers, as well as their discovering and the challenges encountered in choosing landing sites in their missions.

The Martian is PG-13 and runs for about 141 minutes. The Martian was released in 2015.
