The Carson Kolzig Foundation will be having their second annual Responding to Autism Event this Friday, April 15 at the Three Rivers Convention Center from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The purpose of this free Responding to Autism Event is to bring families together, share resources, and promote awareness.There will be over one-hundred local resources present with booths for families to take resources about various areas such as diagnostic services, interventions, specialized therapies, educational products/materials, resources for everyday needs, childcare, behavior management, and more. The Multicultural Club at Washington State University Tri Cities presents the 3rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. event. The event, which will occur January 14, features an inter-generational panel at 6:30pm to discuss civil rights accomplishments and current challenges. Panelists will include Dr. Novella N. Bridges, a senior research chemist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory; Zixu Ha, the ASWSU Tri Cities President; and Jack Hamann, author of On American Soil: How Justice Became a Casualty of WWII. The first 350 guests in the door will receive a free sit down dinner. Following the panel and dinner at 8:00pm, Larry Fuller will be doing a Jazz performance with guest singer, Shilah Phillips.

This Sunday, October 17, head to Kennewick Washington for the annual Three Rivers Bridal Show. This annual event is a must for future brides!
