Warbirds Over Washington, Miniature Association Aircraft Airfield Everyone is invited at the Miniature Association Aircraft Airfield in West Richland on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30 from 9:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon and Sunday, September 31 from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon for the “Warbirds over Washington” event.

Details of the Event
There will be a pre-registration fee of $35.00 or $40.00 at the airfield for participants. Warbirds over Washington is sponsored and promoted by Sport Flyer Magazine in an effort to hold a premier Warbird event that has been missing in the northwest. They will be running two separate flight lines; larger planes IMAA standard will fly on runway 1 that is 30'x400' asphalt with a groomed 40'x800' grass strip on the far side, runway

Just like last year, they are letting the fans vote on new rules that they will use in actual games. This is something that has never been done, ever, in the history of sports and entertainment. On December 17 come out to watch the Tri City Americans Hockey team and support a great cause. The Tri City Americans and the Washington State Potato Foundation are joining together for this game to recognize agriculture. The Tri City Americans will be playing the Vancouver Giants at 7:05 pm at the Toyota Center in Kennewick Washington. For AG Nights, ticket prices have been discounted, each ticket will cost $10; $3 of the proceeds will go to the Washington State Potato Foundation.

The purpose of the Washington State Potato Foundation is to provide scholarship money for students who desire to pursue a career in agriculture related areas. The scholarship is open to students in both Washington and Oregon who are in the process of obtaining a two or four
