Richland’s Badger Mountain Challenge 50k Ultra Marathon

Do you think the 15k trail is too easy? Well, here is where the challenge begins. Go up against some of the more experienced runners on March 29 for the Badger Mountain Challenge 50k Ultra Marathon, which is sponsored by Subaru, Confidence in Motion. Check-in time is between 6-6:45AM and actual marathon start at 7:00AM. However, you have the option to go for an early start, which is at 6:00AM.
Entry Fee
Entrant’s fee for the 50k Ultra Marathon is $45 for trail race only or $63 for race and technical fabric race shirt. The fee also includes one goody bag with an assortment of schwag from event sponsors, chip timing, access to fully stocked aid stations, drop bag transport, post race meal, access to race photos, and a commemorative finisher’s medal.…

Each year, towards the end of March, Earth Hour is observed worldwide to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change. The World Wide Fund for Nature organized this event to encourage households and businesses to do their part.
If you don’t have anything better to do on March 22, head on out to Battelle Auditorium for Camerata Musica. The show will start at 8PM until 11PM, and it will feature Will Earl Spanheimer, a local artist who is part of Kennewick High’s class of 1986.

Signature Quilts is currently on exhibit at the White Bluffs Quilt Museum on Torbett Street in Richland, Wa. This quilt was pieced together between the years 1920-1930 by Sylvia Matteson Bradley, a White Bluffs pioneer.
