About Ragtime: The Musical
Ragtime: The Musical is derived from the novel written by E.L. Doctorow. Its story centers on three groups which were dominant back in the 20th century in America. These were the African Americans, the upper-class suburbanites, and the Eastern European immigrants. It talks about a ragtime music artist who pursues his American Dream despite having to face discrimination and prejudice, as well as violence and hatred.
