The VIBE Music Center's Open Mic Night event is open to all ages. Everyone gets a chance to lay bare his vocal talents. He can either recite a poem, sing or play an instrument. Cover charge is $3 per person.

The Open Mic Night is the perfect venue to acknowledge one's talent and make the most of it. It's also an opportunity to practice performing in front of the crowd and learn to exhibit one's talent without inhibition.

Lit Fest Primal Mates: Music Meets Poetry Richland Public Library Richland, WashingtonOver the years, as part of their regular concert programs, the chamber jazz duo of Chris Lee and Colleen O'Brien have included poems that have been set to music, music that has been set to poems, and music by some well-known writers who were also accomplished composers. This concert will be devoted entirely to this genre. This concert is presented by the Mid-Columbia Literary Festival.
