Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society's Audubon Day In Richland, WashingtonLower Columbia Basin Audubon Society is celebrating its 50 years of Birding in the Lower Columbia Basin and around the world. Audubon has been serving Benton and Franklin Counties since 1965.

On Saturday, October 10 as part of their 50th year anniversary Audubon is inviting all LCBAS members join the Audubon Day at The Reach in Richland, Washington. The event will start with a bird walk on Bateman Island at 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Then head to the Reach for the bird drawing lecture for children using taxidermy birds as models until 11:30 am. All drawing supplies will be provided by Audubon.

Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society Breakfast Fundraiser Pasco, WashingtonOn Saturday, January 31 the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society will have a breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s Restaurant, 5305 Rd 68 in Pasco, Washington from 8:00 until 10:00 in the morning.

Details of the Breakfast Fundraiser
The Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society will hold a pancake breakfast with proceeds from the breakfast to help the society with its educational and conservation programs throughout the year.

Cost:
$10 and includes scrambled eggs, link sausages, pancakes and a beverage.

Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society Monthly Meeting Kennewick, WashingtonOn Tuesday, January 27 the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society will have their monthly meeting at the First Lutheran Church, 418 N. Yelm St. in Kennewick, Washington. Meeting starts at 7:00 in the evening. It is free to attend.

About the Event
The monthly meeting will include a talk by Audubon Society president Lori Nelson, who will address how climate change affects bird species.
