Discover Hanford's role in the making of the atomic bomb.  “The Bomb” a new PBS special which seeks to tell the story of a weapon that transformed history and continues to affect relationships among contradicting world powers premiered last Tuesday, July 28.  The PBS airing of the creation of the atomic bomb is a special feature for the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

17th Annual Hanford Holiday - Hoopfest Hanford High School Richland, WashingtonHanford High School will be hosting the 17th Annual Hanford Holiday Hoopfest on Saturday, December 13. Admission is $225.00.

Calling all 6th Grade Boys (6B), 7th Grade Boys (7B), 8th Grade Boys (8B) 6th Grade Girls (6G), 7th Grade Girls (7G), 8th Grade Girls (8G)!

All teams will play at least 4 games (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday). This event is for teams of all ability levels. The formats will be determined based on the number of teams in each division. Five-team round-robin and six or eight-team cross-pools with A, B, and C divisions were used exclusively so all Saturday and most Sunday games could be pre-scheduled due to constraints from teams with League games and/or out-of-town travel.
