Rose Ensemble presented by Camerata in Richland's Battelle AuditoriumThe Rose Ensemble presented by Camerata will be performed on Saturday, November 21. The Minneapolis–based vocal group returns to the series with Il Poverello (“the poor one”), a thematic program featuring readings and music about Francis of Assisi ranging from the 12th to the 15th centuries.

The program includes a mix of music and culture of medieval Spain where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in a shared and artistic society, which demonstrates how diversity and tolerance stays alive in music. Unique instruments that will be part of the music making include a riqq (tambourine), dumbek (drum) and rebec (fiddle).

Dress up in ethnic/national clothing and you may win a prize. In honor of their 20th anniversary, the Diversity Coalition will ne inaugurating two new geography-related activities the day of the festival.
