Christ the King Sausage Fest2023 Sausage Fest at Christ the King School in Richland Washington

For decades Christ the King School has held Sausage Fest, the primary fundraising event for each school year. This annual community event hosts nearly 25,000-30,000 people a year making it the third largest event in Tri Cities Washington. Kennewick's Science Is Fun For Children | Let's Get ElectricKennewick's Science Is Fun For Children | Let's Get Electric is Monday, December 30, 1:00pm-2:30pm, Ages 8-11, $14 City Residents or $21.  If your child is getting cabin fever this winter break and you want them to partake in a fun and educational activity, look no further! Children will have fun exploring electricity and technology in this hands-on science class that will cover the principals of magnetism and motors. Students will create an electromagnet, identify motor parts and use common tools to dismantle an electric motor.  All materials and tools are provided. Activity presenter is Owen Kramer a retired Project Controls Engineer and current substitute teacher for the Kennewick School District.

Through the various classes your child will learn the basics of knitting and crocheting, learn how to make jewelry, create knitting or weaving crafts that could make great gifts, as well as a variety of other creative shapes and toys.
