Expanding Your Horizons Tri-Cities Workshop is a presentation intended for middle school girls. The workshop is designed to make the girls aware of STEM and nontraditional careers. During the workshop, women in both traditional and nontraditional careers will be presented to make the female students open for career possibilities other than the line of work common to women. Recently the US News and World Report issued a new report on the “Top Ten Places to Begin a Second Career.” Many seniors throughout the US will continue to work past the age of 65 because they enjoy working. However these seniors who enjoy working are having a hard time finding employment.
