Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8 when ACT will present a showcase of some of the most amazing gardens in the Tri-Cities! The self-guided tour of five venues begins at 10 am and continues to 3 pm when we adjourn to a beautiful riverfront estate for an official Garden Party event from 3 pm-5 pm. This is the only garden tour in the Tri-Cities and we highlight each garden with a theme and an artistic element of some delightful sort! Tickets are $30 to both the tour and the party and will be available soon! Proceeds benefit the Academy of Children's Theatre.

Academy of Children's Theatre ACT's Spectrum on Stage | Autism Acting ClassesThe Academy of Children's Theatre Spectrum on Stage Autism Acting Classes will launch a groundbreaking program for children on the autism spectrum in November. ACT's "Spectrum on Stage" class will be held on Thursdays beginning November 5 and continuing through December 17. The class is available to students eight years old and up. Class size is limited, and a wait-list is anticipated.

The program is based on theatre for autism techniques demonstrated at the National Autism convention, and the special curriculum has been devised by ACT education director Julie Schroeder who is certified in teaching Drama for Autism.

The Academy of Children’s Theatre is pleased to present, for your viewing entertainment, their rendition of Pippi Longstocking. This well-loved story has something in it for everyone, the engaging story follows is centered around Pippi Longstocking who is quite the prankster! Pippi loves to dupe adults and can be quite horrid to those who are condescending or cruel. With a pirate for a dad, a pet monkey and a horse on the porch, Pippi is sure to capture your attention.
