Tri Cities WA Wine TastingSpring Barrel Tasting Weekend is going on next weekend, April 15-17 throughout the Tri Cities Washington and surrounding areas. There are nearly 50 wineries involved in this event this year, most of them are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; a few are open by appointment only. Some wineries will have live music, arts and craft vendors and/or education demonstrations. Tasters must bring their own glass or purchase one at your first stop, there is no way the winery dishwashers would be able to keep up.

There are premier passes available for tasters to get the best experience, discounts and tastings. There are also discounts on merchandise, extra tastings, and in some cases food samples made available to premier pass holders. The wristbands are good in participating Yakima Valley wineries and some of the wineries in the Tri Cities who are member of Wine Yakima valley; some wineries are only open to premiere pass holders and some waive their tasting fee for premier pass holders. The complete list of Yakima Valley Wineries can be found online at the Wine Yakima Valley website. These passes can be purchased for $45 in advance on the Wine Yakima Valley website until April 11.
