About the Reach Tours featuring Coyote Canyon Mammoth Dig and Ice Age Floods and Benton and Walla Walla Counties
This Reach Tours edition will be led by Gary Kleinknecht who has exceptional expertise in Ice Age floods. He is the Education Director for the Coyote Canyon Mammoth Dig. His presence at the tour will absolutely make the participants well educated about the places to be visited.
The tour includes the working excavation of a mammoth, about 17,449 years old, which is found at the Coyote Canyon Mammoth Site. Badger Coulee, Wallula Gap and Clastic Dikes are also part of the tour. The registration fee for this tour costs $78 per person. It is inclusive of lunch, water and transporation.
