On Friday, August 1visit P.F. Chang's Kennewick located in 8108 W Gage Boulevard Kennewick, Washington as they celebrate "Troops and Vets."
About the Event
To show their immense gratitude to the troops and vets P.F. Chang’s will be dedicating a weekend just for them. From August 1st-3rd, they will be partnering with several local nonprofit charities and organizations all weekend long to show their appreciation.
Everyone is welcome to join! Bring your family and friends on Saturday or Sunday afternoon and share donations of new clothing, daily essentials, or baked goods, write a thank you, or have your kids make a craft to say thank you and send much needed encouragement to the brave men and women serving overseas.You can also watch or help volunteers pack your donations and get them ready to send off. In addition, there will be several military vehicles on site, challenges from our local recruiting offices and donations from local supporting businesses will be raffled off, all the proceeds from these raffles will be going to nonprofit organizations.
On Sunday, there will be a dinner where 20% of the proceeds will go directly to the Guardians of Freedom Project, an organization that is dedicated to ensuring that the wounded warriors have new clothes and daily essentials
The event will kick off on Friday night with live music. Enjoy the drink and appetizer specials while local musicians play classic American anthems on our cool enclosed patio. Plus, if you can’t make it Friday night, the same activities will take place on Saturday night as well!Â
