The Richland School District is in the process of hiring a new superintendent due to the fact that the current superintendent Jean Lane is retiring this summer. There are four candidates being considered: Charlie Beck, the assistant superintendent and chief academic officer of the Bend/LaPine School District; Jim Busey the superintendent of the Lake Chelan School District; Steve Chestnut the superintendent of the Selah School District; and Pat Evenson-Brady the superintendent of the Hood River School District. These four candidates will be interviewed Ferbruary 8 from 6:00 to 8:45 and February 9 from 4:30-7:15 at the District Office. A committee of will be in attendence to provide feedback to the board; these interviews will be open to the public. Then the finalists will be interviewed once more February 16 through February 18.
