Presenting the lecture on "Rap 101: The Message Behind the Music" is Eric Davis. The discussion will cover topics concerning the modern culture, social issues and many other matters usually used as an inspiration for hip-hop and rap lyrics writers.

The young generation is undeniably fond of rap and hip-hop music. These types of music are said to have powerful influences on the way the youth thinks. Many people believe that rap and hip-hop speak about the world's ruthless realities. Through this community lecture, participants will be able to perceive the implication of these sort of music and the story behind the lyrics.
