Now there is a novel idea. Imagine having a sales person who is genuinely interested in a customers wants and needs rather than steering them into a situation that offers the salesman the best commission or deal. Now THAT is true customer service.
Posted by Sire on Wednesday, August 12th, 2009 at 8:12pmThanks Sire! Colleen rocks when it comes to customer service. I rock when it comes to helping Colleen do her job! ~ Joe :)

Posted by Sire on Monday, September 7th, 2009 at 12:10amI used to be a salesman, many years ago, and I've seen how some work the customer, steering them into buying something not really suited to them. Me, I preferred to sell them what I needed, and sure I may have gotten less sales for the mob I worked for, but they had happy customers that were more likely to come back.

Posted by tam on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 at 5:39amA salesman can not push someone to buy a house which does not meet their requirements. It is just playing around the bush.If you have something relevant to the requirement then every possibility that you will crack a sale.
Posted by Ian on Friday, October 9th, 2009 at 3:22amWow I love this resource and the blog looks fantastic too. The fact that you have opened the search up to be able to view listings details without needing to give up the first born is great and it would be nice to see more REALTORS taking this same approach, instead of guarding it with their lives. I have attempted the same thing at my site and I think people genuinely feel more served by your site than others. Keep up the great work.
Posted by Chris on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at 11:00amI always like to let my clients pick the houses they want to see, of course in a range of what they are approved for, and that way they feel like they are getting to see exactly what they want. Then they can't tell me that I only showed them homes that I wanted them to see. They get to pick what they see!

Posted by Boc on Thursday, November 19th, 2009 at 4:14amIts very rare to find a salesperson who would prioritize the needs of his/her customers before commission. They would rather make the sale rather than make their customers happy. But there are some left who are doing a great job. When I moved in to my place, my real estate broker was direct to the point and very helpful. She never made excuses. I prefer knowing what's really happening, even if it is bad use, rather than being avoided or lied to.
Posted by Harry on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at 10:31pmThese are some cool features that can surely help the buyers. This what I call is opening up the market to create a healthy competition and all this ultimately benefits the buyers.
