The Kennewick police department and the Richland police department have been joining together for the past several years to put on a free landlord seminar. This seminar is a part of their Crime Resistant Community Living Program. The class will be on April 20 from 8:00am until 5:00pm at the Kennewick Police Department. The class will inform managers and owners of residential rental properties about recognizing drug and gang activity, landlord tenant law, code enforcement, and active property managed. Landlords will also learn about screening tenants to get rental, criminal and credit history. There is only a limited number of seats available so landlords interested are asked to call Richland police Officer Erica Tungesvik at 509.942.7636 or Kennewick police Officer Allan Knox 509.582.1352.
