Richland Public Library Featuring Defending Your Voice: Teaching Soldiers How to Tell Their Stories
The Richland Public Library located at 955 Northgate Richland, WA, will hold another interesting Tri-Cities Community Lecture Series on December 17, 2015. The lecture series will be on the subject of "Defending Your Voice: Teaching Soldiers How to Tell Their Stories". Gracing the event is the respectable author and Professor, Shawn Wong. More details on this event are available at the Richland Public Library website.

Shawn Wong and the Red Badge Project
Shawn Wong has worked for the Red Badge Project with a team of teachers. The Red Badge Project taught veterans at Joint Base Lew-McChord how to properly tell their stories through writing. The Red Badge Project helped the soldiers to share what they have gone through not just to their families but also to the public. They were given tips on how to be heard and understood in ways that are more effective and comprehensive.

Through "Defending Your Voice: Teaching Soldiers How to Tell Their Stories" the Tri Cities Community will be educated on how to further understand the tales of our veterans.
