CBC to Hold Solar-Powered Concert and Tree Planting
Columbia Basin College in Pasco Washington will be holding a solar-powered concert and a tree planting on campus. The concert featuring Jonathan Kingham will be from 11:00am until 12:00pm in the HUB. The solar power for the concert is provided by the Franklin PUD. Following the concert, at 1:00pm there will be a tree planting east of the “W” building where those in attendance will receive seedlings to plant. This event is in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day. CBC has been named by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree Campus USA school, the only community college in the state to receive the designation.
