The Washington State Office of Public Defense believes that in order to work effectively on juvenile offender cases, one must have a specialized knowledge on the subject of adolescents' behavior. The person must also be aware of these young individuals' rehabilitation potential.
Adolescent Brain Development and the Effects of Trauma on Youth is a free training formed for the professional teams working on such cases particularly the defense attorneys, judicial officers, court administrators and staff, prosecutors and all others.
