Confidence is an important characteristic that a good leader should develop. Confidence is gained is you know the right words to say, as well as how to say these words in the most impactful way. On this note, the Sun Country Toastmasters Club will hold a 6-week program specifically designed to develop leadership and speaking skills.
What the Program Aims
This program aims to help participants gain confidence in communication. It will help and teach participants to be more confident when trying to communicate through writing, when delivering speeches, and impromptu speaking. However, the program entails more than just verbal and written communication. It will also underscore the importance of communicating using body language and improving effective listening.
Workshop Schedules
The series of workshops started last month, but there still two remaining weeks for you to join. Remaining dates are March 13 and 20. The workshop is scheduled on Thursdays, from 6:30PM to 8PM at the Charbonneau Retirement Community in Kennewick.
