About the Lecture
Doctor Gene Paul Kiver, an Emeritus Geology Professor at the Eastern Washington University and one of the founders of the Ice Age Institute, addresses the failure of Idaho’s glacier dams and the floods from Glacial Lake Missoula that violently transformed the Pacific Northwest landscape. Come learn about our flood-impacted area and its glacial history.

This free public lecture is part of the Community Lecture Series, in partnership with Columbia Basin College, Battelle Northwest, and many other community partners. This program is open for all ages.
