Details of The Event
Located nine miles north of Benton City, Washington and about 13 miles to Richland, Washington, the Miniature Aircraft Association (Higgins Field) will be on August 28, 29 and 30. Last years' event was very well attended - now the largest Warbird event in the Northwest. The three-day event includes noontime air shows and a Saturday night barbecue. Warbirds of all types are invited: helicopters, airplanes, bombers, jets, and a lot more.

The airfield is paved with grass aprons, has shade trees, concrete taxiways, bathroom facilities, and a workshop. There's parking for self-contained RV's and room for vendors. The Yakima River affronts the airfield. Just one mile north of the airfield is a county-owned campground with hook-ups, grass, and shade. There are hotels, motels and restaurants just 15 minutes from the airfield. The Miniature Aircraft Association will provide a raffle for the attendees.

Schedule of Event
Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Free to watch. But if you want to participate, please pay $40. 3-day entry fee $25 only. For more information click here.
