The Eastern Scablands of the Ice Age Floods Experience

The Eastern Scablands of the Ice Age Floods tour will be led by an expert in the Ice Age Floods, Gary Kleinknecht. The tour will feature the secluded part of the Southern Cheney-Palouse Scabland Tract. Participants will have the chance to learn more about the Palouse Hills of the Eastern Washington, where the islands are divided by Scablands and coulees. During the tour, the group will discuss the flood deposits which are over 780,000 years in existence. Also featured in the tour are the Rock Lake and the Big Cove Coulee.

Admission to the Eastern Scablands of the Ice Age Floods tour costs $87 each. The fee is inclusive of the bus ride, water, and lunch. For inquiries, call 509-943-4100 ext. 108 and look for Sara. Don't miss it!
