The Mutton Bustin' Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo’s In Kennewick WashingtonInviting all kids, 6 years old and under to join in the Mutton Bustin’ event at the Benron Franklin Fair & Rodeo - Home Street Bank Arena, 1500 Oak Street in Kennewick, Washington from Wednesday through Saturday, August 26 to 29. The race starts at 7:00 in the evening.

About Mutton Bustin’
This is an event held at rodeos which is similar to bull riding or bonc riding, in which children ride or race sheep. To join, contestants must be six years old and under and must weigh 50 pounds and under. They must provide their own rope and mouth piece. The helmet and vest will be provided and full western attire is also required. There will be 16 participants who get the chance to race per night. Top ten scores ride again on Saturday night. Contestants must ride sitting up, no lying down.

Entry Fee: Entries to the race are open on Monday, August 3 at 8:00 in the morning and an entry fee of $20 will be collected. For more details click here.
