Mary Bywater Cross is a quilt researcher with specialized interest in women’s history. Mary takes her passion for all kinds of woolens, including those made from cashmere and vicuna and makes unusual quilts with simple and geometrical patterns.

Summer Kids Classes: Christmas In August White Bluffs Quilt Museum

From August 25 to 28, experience Christmas in August in White Bluffs Quilt Museum's summer kids classes. This is open for ages 8 and over and will be from 10:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon for the morning classes and 1:00 until 3:00 in the afternoon for the afternoon classes.

Summer Kids Classes: Christmas In August 
It's craft week for White Bluffs Quilt Museum summer class. Register and make gifts, projects and ornaments. There will be two project choices for each class session and projects include sewing, weaving, making a purse, stitching a market bag, a "magic" pillowcase, cross stitch coasters and many others.

White Bluffs Quilt Museum Celebrates Native American Month Richland

On Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 the White Bluffs Quilt Museum will be celebrating Native American Month with a series of events.

Details of the Event
The celebration will include a town hall lecture, a bus trip, a workshop, and exhibits. The textile focus for 2014 will be traditional Native American beading. The textile focus for the 2014 event will be traditional Native American beading.
