The annual 1-mile walk fundraiser aims to raise awareness about Down Syndrome. It has bring together all kinds of families with the goal of raising awareness and inclusion for those with Down Syndrome.

The Buddy Walks Fundraiser is a great family day for all. Aside from the ceremonial one-mile family walk, there will be games, activities, raffle, food and music.

This is a free event. Donations will be accepted for balloons. Free Shirts to the first 500 people registered. Northwest Cancer Clinic will match each balloon donation with proceeds going to the non-profit Focus on Cancer for free mammograms.

Richland Community Center's Urban Greenbelt Trail Hike Richland, WashingtonOn Saturday, July 11 from 8:30 until 11:00 in the morning everyone is invited to the Urban Greenbelt Trail Hike at the Richland Community Center located in 500 Amon Park Drive in Richland, Washington.

Details of the Event
This volunteer led walk will follow Richland's Urban Greenbelt Trail (UGT), an urban path that encircles the central city. Along the way, we'll talk about the city's history and look at pictures of Richland in earlier days. Fitness Level: Easy to Moderate. Distance: 3.25 miles round trip, no elevation (allow 1.5 hrs. to 2 hrs.)
