Reports reveal that most teachers in K-12 schools in Washington are white and female. Some believed that this results in a culture gap between the students and teachers. Think and Drink Lecture: The Divided Classroom will dig into what the teacher's race has to do with learning. The lecture will talk about relevant issues and how the teacher's religion, background, or socioeconomic condition affect learning.
