On Wednesday, October 23 be ready for the Screech at the REACH happening from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening where you will learn and explore about the myths and truths about the creatures of Halloween!

There will be presentation about the scary denizens of the night at 6:00 in the evening sharp so be there earlier. Immediately after that, there will be tables set up for kids to make clothespin bats, dissect owl pellets, or stroke a wolf pelt.

Mud Cubs At The REACH In Richland, Washington

On Saturday, September 12 come join a fun-filled event at the REACH in Richland, Washington from 10:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon. 

About the Mud Cubs
This is your chance to play in the mud and do some watery activities with your friends. It will be set up in a challenge course type design with some events requiring participants to dig and crawl through the mud.

Attire:
You will get muddy so it's advisable to wear old clothes and shoes and bring a towel, a change of clothes, and a garbage bag to put it all in. You may want to wear a swimsuit underneath your clothes for easier clean up. Closed toe shoes are required.

On Saturday, April 18 everyone is invited to the Geology and Wildflowers of the Drumheller Channels Tour at the REACH in Richland, Washington. Please confirm by April 13th.

About the Tour
Join geologist-author Bruce Bjornstad on a bus ride to Othello before departing on a 3-4 mile long, moderate to easy hike through the spectacular, flood-sculpted Drumheller Channels. Elevation gain ~ 300 ft. Spring wildflowers should be in peak bloom. Tour includes bus ride, printed field guide, and sack lunch.
